Man, time can just fly by when life gets good! And life’s been pretty good lately.
I’ve begun contributing to Urban Velo online, in addition to the stories I’ve been writing for the print magazine. I recently sat down with Jim and Mary at the AIDS Lifecycle office to find out more about the 545-mile ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles. I learned a ton about the ALC experience and the programs that it supports–read the interview here.
Salton Sea Shhhhh. Went back to the Slabs, camped beside Salvation Mountain. So good to be back. Went a little crazy, had a lot of fun. Words fall short when trying to describe a weekend with a hundred of your closest friends under the sun and stars and setting shit on fire.
And I just finished making a ‘zine. It’s called Bike Zeen. It’s a collection of photos and scribbles from the last 2 years. I’ve done a lot of stuff in that time, so it was tough to cut it down to a reasonable size to put together. I had a lot of fun doing it though. If you’re interested in getting a copy there will be a limited run available at the Bicycle Art Show at the Weingart Gallery during the Spoken Art Ride on Saturday March 16th (or send me a message). See ya there!
