Seattle street art

Yesterday I slept until afternoon and then visited with friends in Auburn, a quaint rural suburb half an hour’s drive out of Seattle. I had planned a good ride today to a pretty place (I’ve been told) called Golden Gardens, but the rain has deterred me (darnit, why didn’t I go yesterday when the weather was better?!?!), leaving me to laundry and more travel coordinating. I am running up against a sold out train (Spokane to Glacier National Park) and destinations hundreds of miles apart…what to do, what to do. For now, I am resolving to just get soggy and go find a good skyline view. Wish me luck!

In the meantime here is a cool piece of street art I spotted on my way into downtown. I am really quite fond of the rocketeer woman.
